DIY Film Machine
![]()
Flickr user dark orange has posted a set of images documenting and teaching interested readers how to make their own film-making machine. Being a film user myself, one advantage I can think of for having such a piece of hardware is the ability to create the type of negatives I like. This is especially important as I’m not sure when Kodak will stop producing its Tri-X black-and-white negatives, considering it has halted Kodachrome earlier this year. Instead of making this a solo project, why not gather a few friends to make this machine? Who knows, you may even be able to sell a couple of rolls for a decent profit.
