December 28th, 2009

Microsoft announced Project Natal at E3 2009, and it would make sense for the company to showcase some of the technology’s applications at CES. Could we get an official release date and price for Natal? Sony has a new motion controller that is almost ready for release so we’re anxious to see if it’ll be on display. The company has been mostly tight-lipped up until now, so what better venue to unveil it? Another big theme at CES will undoubtedly be 3D gaming. We got to see a sneak peek last year with the Nvidia Geforce 3D Vision, but now we look to the home consoles to start offering a similar experience. Sony has teased the notion before, so don’t be surprised to hear an announcement.

HTC Russia’s tweet says HD2 will get WM7

    December 28th, 2009

HTC Russia’s official Twitter account seems to have leaked news that the HD2 will be upgraded to Windows Mobile 7. Posted in Russian, the Twitter status update indicated that the HD2 will be the only HTC device currently on the market to get the upcoming version of Microsoft’s mobile OS. The tweet has since been deleted–you can draw your own conclusions as to what that implies. There have been rumors that the HD2 will receive such an update and this recent leak appears to validate them. In any case, we won’t hear anything official from either HTC or Microsoft, so let’s just wait and see.
