Toyota Prius Wagon & Prius SUV
The new Toyota Hybrid X Concept saw daylight at the 2007 Geneva Motor Show, the car manufacturer has considered coming up with a new Prius Wagon that would appeal to the green minded somewhere in 2011 or 2012. Probably serving as the base for other hybrid models, it’s going to be funny how a Toyota Prius Wagon would do in North America as the Japanese haven’t marketed anything like that before — unlike they did in Europe for example. It’s also interesting to see if the rumors that the Lexus RX400h will be rebranded as a Prius SUV materialize, because a “green car” with such a price tag … is not really sustainable from our point of view. What’s almost sure is that Toyota is going to bundle the new models with a regenerative brakes system, will allow for solar roof options and could even consider plug-in versions.
